## Design premise

A text-based storyboard, written before any code: every scene is a decision with a consequence, not a slide. The plan below is the build contract — scene count, interaction logic, feedback placement and the debrief arc.

## Scene plan

| # | Scene | On screen | The learner decides | Right path | Tempting path | Consequence shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | **The empty briefing board** | 8 item cards shuffled, 2 anchors pre-highlighted | place anchors first | anchors placed before anything else | drops anchors mid-sequence | board shows the SOP anchor rule violated — the flight has no fixed reference |
| 2 | **Position 4 is contested** | safety-cards demo and special-passenger items both fit | choose position 4 | special-passenger coordination precedes demo per SOP | demo first because 'it feels natural' | position-level feedback: what belongs here, why, and the rationale for the placed item |
| 3 | **The disruption** | mid-briefing interruption: delayed catering truck | hold order or improvise | order holds; disruption noted and sequence resumed | improvised reordering | fluency loop replays the sequence — the improvised version dropped a regulatory item |
| 4 | **The fluency loop** | timer on, one item hidden then returned | rebuild the sequence | sub-target rebuild with rationale intact | slow rebuild, rationale forgotten | loop scores speed AND rationale recall — fluency without reasons fails |

## Retry design

Any placement error returns the item to the tray with position-level feedback; the fluency loop is the timed retry after a clean run.

## Debrief plan

Debrief shows the final board against SOP, lists break-point rationales recalled and missed, and names the anchor habit.
