Design premise

The look follows the constraint from the interview: glanceable, print-first, two languages. Amber dairy-ledger ink on dark — the palette of a creamery's record book, not a tech product.

Typography

Instrument Serif for headings (the ledger voice), Inter for body, JetBrains Mono for step numbers and traces. The manual uses large numerals and short lines so it works one-handed at a glance.

Layout decisions worth noticing

• Print-first manual — rendered as an actual cream card inside the page, so the reviewer sees the artifact the operator will actually hold
• Trace lines — every requirement card carries a monospace "→ artifact" line, making the pipeline visible at a glance
• Two-language parity — the manual shows NL and EN together, because the floor does
