Kit 7 · MedCheck · deliverable · designed and built by I Wayan Usada — instructional design portfolio
A text-based storyboard, written before any code: every scene is a decision with a consequence, not a slide. The plan below is the build contract — scene count, interaction logic, feedback placement and the debrief arc.
| # | Scene | On screen | The learner decides | Right path | Tempting path | Consequence shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The double dose | prescription with a seeded dosage anomaly | flag or clear | flagged with evidence: the math shown | cleared: 'looks fine' | consequence panel: the audit's second check catches it — what did the first miss? |
| 2 | The clean oddity | unusual but legitimate prescription, fully in order | flag or clear | cleared with confidence — it is correct | defensive flag 'just in case' | over-flag penalty: flags cost accuracy points AND audit time |
| 3 | The decoy family | interaction warning that is genuinely fine | flag or clear | cleared: the decoy is clean by design | flags the decoy | feedback proves the truth value: this line was clean, the flag was the error |
| 4 | The calibration huddle | team results against designed truth | review pattern | names own discrimination pattern | defends the paranoia | debrief scores hits, misses and over-flags on one panel |
Prescriptions re-seed on retry; truth values revealed per line only in the debrief.
Debrief scores hits, misses and over-flags separately — discrimination is the skill, paranoia is the failure.
