Kit 5 · Onboarding Academy · deliverable · designed and built by I Wayan Usada — instructional design portfolio
A text-based storyboard, written before any code: every scene is a decision with a consequence, not a slide. The plan below is the build contract — scene count, interaction logic, feedback placement and the debrief arc.
| # | Scene | On screen | The learner decides | Right path | Tempting path | Consequence shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Phase 1: the first dock | new receiver, first pallet, buddy watching | experience the phase design | knowledge fluency targeted: probe-before-signature from day one | shadowing without a task | blueprint shows the driver unattacked — phase redesigned |
| 2 | Phase 3: the borderline call | first borderline temperature, shift lead nearby | see the checkpoint | confidence checkpoint: coached borderline decision | no checkpoint until week 12 | measurement framework flags the gap: risk moment passed unmeasured |
| 3 | Phase 5: the error moment | first signed-off error, recovery path available | check the counter-measure | error-recovery protocol rehearsed in phase 3 | improvised recovery | blueprint names the missing counter-measure at the risk moment |
| 4 | The 90-day review | exit data vs phase design | read the map | every failure mode has a phase-pinned counter | calendar review only | measurement framework: drivers owned or not — the map is the audit |
The blueprint re-opens any phase; counter-measure pins are editable and re-audited live.
Debrief reads the four drivers against the five phases: owned, unowned, and where the risk moments sit.
