Kit 10 · The Second Signature · deliverable · designed and built by I Wayan Usada — instructional design portfolio
A text-based storyboard, written before any code: every scene is a decision with a consequence, not a slide. The plan below is the build contract — scene count, interaction logic, feedback placement and the debrief arc.
| # | Scene | On screen | The learner decides | Right path | Tempting path | Consequence shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The rounding memo | consistent small roundings, defensible in a memo | three responses | principled: engage + propose the correction path | plausible: sign it — 'materiality' | ladder panel: the plausible survives an audit and corrodes the culture — named |
| 2 | The annotate trap | adding a caveat to a memo you shouldn't sign | three responses | principled: decline + document the decline | overcorrected: escalate to regulator | ladder panel: overcorrection is escalation malpractice — the rung proportionate to the risk |
| 3 | The pressure memo | senior partner's preferred treatment, borderline | three responses | principled: engage, propose, document | plausible: sign with a mental reservation | consequence panel: mental reservations don't exist in files — only signatures do |
| 4 | The culture readout | your file of decisions as a pattern | review the file | reads own ladder usage honestly | defends each memo separately | debrief: the file is the culture — proportionality is a pattern, not a choice |
Memos replay; the ladder panel re-opens on each replay showing where the chosen response sat.
Debrief scores rung proportionality per memo and reads the file as a culture pattern.
