Re: Rate Guard launch — enablement plan for Support, Sales, Partners

1. Situation

CargoDesk releases Rate Guard in 12 days: live surcharge protection that locks quotes against fuel-price spikes above a configurable threshold. Three audiences touch it on day one:

Leadership's request: "training session before launch."

2. The real question behind the request

One webinar reaches employees but not partners, decays in a month, and teaches features rather than confidence. What launch-week system makes every audience independently capable the day the feature ships — and keeps them capable through month three?

Key constraints found talking to team leads:

  1. Support shifts run 24/6 — synchronous training can never cover everyone once.
  2. Resellers span 9 countries and 4 languages; live delivery is impossible at scale.
  3. Historic data: 68% of post-launch tickets for the previous feature were answered by five recurring questions — predictable content beats reactive training.

3. Solution: a launch-ready enablement kit, not a meeting

Adoption objective (measurable):

Within 30 days of launch: ≥75% of active accounts use Rate Guard ≥1×; Rate-Guard tickets ≤15% of total ticket volume and falling; 90% CSA demo-completion score in spot audits.

4. Scope & assumptions

UI shown in the tour/widget are hand-built mocks pending final screenshots; thresholds (fuel index linkage) simplified for teaching clarity; EN master with localization checklist included in adoption plan.

5. Recommendation

Ship the kit contents into Release Notes links, Support macro library, and Partner portal simultaneously at T-launch; review KPI dashboard at day 7 and day 30; iterate weak spots via item-level search-miss analytics from the KB.
